Malachi lead Madison towards the Housing district Where he could show her where people lived, they had to walk through the Commons to get there, which gave Madison time to absorb some of the sites without commentary from himself allow her to raise questions of her own which would let her chose the topics she wanted to know about first. and Malachi did have a route planned out Start at his house which wasn't in nice enough neighborhood to be perfectly safe, he'd show her some of his childhood hang outs, and the bath house, then head back towards the commons where he could retell the stories she might have already heard about their history and answer any questions she had, then hed to the city walls, introduce her to some of the guards that protected the walls and end the evening with tour of the cemetery, if she felt up to it, or if not show her the dueling fields. He guessed a cemetery may not be the best place to end a tour of the city. Especially when the perrson he was giving a tour to already had issues with lonelyness, bet not to add a reminder of mortality onto that.
So after about an hour of walking Malachi arrived at his family home. "Well Madison, this is my house, or at least my families house, we are neither the richest or the poorest in town, If you like I can give you a tour of the inside, parents should be at work, so we'd have the place to ourselves, and you could see how we magic folk live without electricity." Malachi's offer was sincere and harmless. Though he understood if Madison didn't trust him enough to go alone into his house with him. They had only just met about an hour ago, and who knows what a boy of 17 would do with a girl of... he didn't even know her age and here he was giving her the grand tour, her age didn't matter to him She was Attractive, a little on the naive side, and he would be lying if he said that some where in the back of his teenage mind he wasn't considering less-than-innocent subjects involving Madison. Her age was irrelevant to him as long as she was above a certain age, and he was pretty sure she was, and asking her her age would relay the wrong sort of creep vibe, and he didn't want to go that far too early anyway, he wasn't stupid enough to be that irresponsible. These thoughts entered and exited his head quickly enough that they didn't have time to affect his care-free, happy expression. As he awaited her response.
Even if she didn't want a tour of his house there where plenty of places to explore, and they could move on if she liked.
